            Mechanic shops have been paying this tax for a long time in Austin...they call it a rainwater permit.

              I don't see a problem with it! They have to keep track and keep up with the amount of chemicals that goes down the drain. And with the rivers right there it is a huge concern because those rivers are protected. Got to look at the other side of the coin......

                Sounds like someone who is not getting a huge 'stormwater drainage' charge on their water bill each month.

                  Well to me it sounds like someone who knows all about the cities and municipalities and how they work and what "storm water" contains and a person who's passion is to see an improvement in water quality and sees how poorly some people take it.
