they have problems too. We sold a perfectly good expedition that was getting up there in miles and purchased a brand new tahoe to not have problems. It was towed 3 times in first couple months and has been in shop more times than I can count before they finanly figured out problem

The recall on these injectors is more of an extended warranty on them. Meaning.. they only replace them when the break.
So in supposed to have confidence in a vehicle that hauls my kids around that has 7 more chances to leave them stranded on the side of the road.
            Yeh. I don't think so.

just an fyi, injectors are, to the best of my knowledge, not made by ford but made by bosch, and they make injectors for everyone...and typically, when they fail, it's generally because of some crap in the gas that jams them up.....don't run the tank dry and don't buy gas at those no-name/laundry gas stations......

I wonder what the recall on the injectors was truly about, internally/functionality speaking

Expedition is back in shop.. check engine light again.. catalytic converter ..
Judging from Google searches it probably got ruined by the injectors dumping fuel.. wife is ****** and has taken over the duties of strangling a service manager.

not an uncommon issue with the cats. now they HAVE to be replaced before selling right?

yup...cats, o2 sensors most likely as well...typically I think they will reset the codes and the cel won't come back on for a bit so it might look good but soon as you get a few miles on it....bingo...

did yall get that new or used?
