I've done research. I like the Black Talons. They were free(that's way cheaper than the new Ranger ammo)

Your right Mike. The 45+P was not "Critical Duty" but the 45+p 200gr XTP. In Hornaday's ballistic chart the 10mm XTP clocked in at 1050/490 out of a 5" barrel and the .45+P 200gr XTP was 1055/494 w/5" barrel. Nothing that I have chronoed myself.

Lets shoot each other and if either of us lives then they can lay claim to...

Now what do you think of the Critical Duty for a 9mm???

Yeah, Hornady really neuters the 10mm rounds for whatever reason.

Both Double Tap and Underwood Ammo as well as my hand loads load the 10mm as it should be.

I actually like the Critical Duty ammo but am extremely unimpressed with the Critical Defense ammo.

They still make the Talons. Winchester just renamed them Ranger Ammo. A Talon in a full house 10MM rounds would be the ultimate.
