My german short hair will swim in the lake for hours. A little rain or the sprinklers in the yard and you cant make her go out in it.

She probably doesn't like the noise under the metal roof.

If mine are outside when it starts raining, they want to play in it. I dread feeding time after every single rain shower. It could be just a quick summer shower, not even enough to make the sidewalks wet, but those two dogs will be soaking wet and muddy. On the other hand, if they are inside when it starts raining, and I offer to let them out, they will run to the door, look out and look back at me like, "Seriously? You're kidding, right?" Of course, my lab is funny about going outside anyway. He'll run to the door, just until the golden goes out, then turn around and stay inside. He also refuses to go out in the mornings when I'm at the station and Kaitlin is letting them out, but as soon as I get home, he greets me at the door, then leads the way to the door. I swear he know's I'll be home soon and just wants to see me before he goes out.

If ours get caught in the rain, they all tend to make room in one fog house together, instead of going into seperate ones. But our German shepherd is like yours she runs laps in the rain and try's her bet to snap and bite all the rain drops.

My leopard dog does the exact same thing.....

When it rains he acts like it is the best thing in the world. The other day the wife yelled at me to come look out the window. That crazy dog was laying in a puddle in our backyard completely submerged with his back under the water throwing the mud up in the air with his nose! When it stopped raining he was solid black with mud and doing laps around our whole backyard

My prima dona heeler won't go out to potty if it's so much as drizzling. When I open the door he looks outside then back at me like, "can't you do something about all this wet stuff???" He'll hold it til the rain stops.

My beagle paces the fence and ANGRILY barks and growls when the storms start. Im sure he doesnt like the noise. Then he calms down and justs lays around in the rain and puddles. Probably exausted from the schizoid personality. Hes had seizurs in the past.Bless his old heart, I think it fried his mind!
