Thats right. Tgere are a handful of companies that make air gun scope
Bushnell, Gammo, BSA, Hawke(best one) and NC Star

Leupold makes 2 air rifle scopes- tad pricey though.

I have a Barska 4X32 AO airgun scope on my R1 and it has been rock solid so far.

I've had a Leopold 2x7 on my Fienwerkbau for over 25 years with no problems. I had read the same thing when I bought it and the article said Leopold was the only regular scope that would hold up and it has.
