Does it make any digital or mechanical noise when being turned on or turning off?
Thanks.
There is no noise if you turn the sound feature off in the settings..

Im surprised noone has caught this yet, but I believe any computer aided surveilance I.E. wiFi from a remote location is illegal in the state of Texas and several other states. Id check with GW before you do this. If your filming and streaming thats one thing but using a couple hundred yards away to watch deer coimg in is another.
RESTR ICTED M ethods
.
• Remote-controlled H unting: A person may not engage in computer-assisted remote hunting of any
animal or bird or provide or operate facilities for computer-assisted remote hunting if the animal
or bird being hunted is located in Texas.

Originally posted by Leftridge View PostWOW.. Well, I guess you get what you ask for.. I called Texas Parks & Wildlife and spoke to "Chris" who said it was illegal even if you were recording and the camera was at the base of your tree stand..
How did they justify that it was "hunting" an animal?

I'm not fully confident that he understands wifi streaming of video.. But, he said if it was on a trail and I saw a deer coming on the stream, and then I shot the deer that would be illegal..Last edited by Leftridge; 08-28-2012, 04:13 PM.
