I think there is like 27 varieties of poison oak in Texas.

Poison sumac has 7 to 13 leaves
on a branch, although poison
ivy and oak have 3 leaves per
cluster.

I'm so allergic to that stuff that its almost like if its floating around in the air I can get it, and then when I do, its a steroid shot at the Dr's office for sure after that. Spreads like wildfire on me.

same thing for me, luckily i grew up with a nurse for a Mom so she would just bring the shots from work, and it happened a lot

I'm sorry but this is not poison sumac, and there are hundreds of plants that are not toxic with leaves of three. I almost positive it is rhus trifoliata or skunkbush sumac. If it were toxic the deer would not be consuming it as seen on his trail cam especially with our currently good range conditions.
