    It's too easy to torque a really short bow by drawing with fingers, especially letting down.
    If you pull the bow straight, no problems,..... but a lot of guys torque.

      Bow manufactures who build for larger retailers and catalogue stores seldom spend time to send the bow out like a pro shop demands. In the past their bows were built from leftover parts and pro shop rejects to the point of having different poundage limbs.
      Large retail stores and catalogue houses often sell bows below what a pro shop can buy them. At these prices no one is going to spend much effort.
