I am talking about the pitcher's at bats and usually automatic outs ... Keep up

Oswalt signed a minor league contract and it is reported that he will make a min of 4-5 starts there before he is looked at to coming up. Felix is out till the Allstar break according to reports.

When Roy is healthy he is one of the best pitchers I've ever seen.

Not too many years ago he was starting in front of Roger Clemmons and Andy Pettit.

I remember seeing the starting pitchers hit in the college WS.

100%....You may have as you don't have to use a DH if your starter swings a good stick but it is a DH league.

so high school baseball have a DH?????

the dh has only been around since the mid 70's.

since you keep cutting it out i will say it again. if you throw at batters you should have to stand in the box.

And while we're at it can we get rid of that annoying 3-point line and 24 second shot clock in basketball? I remember the good ol' days when it was 5 short, white guys dribbling the ball for 5 minutes before taking a shot.

Yes... 100% sure. I DH'd my freshman year on varsity before I started as a catcher my sophomore year. That was 1984.

Correct about the 70s (1973 in MLB) which is why I said the 50s and 60s want their baseball back

I like the move. If nothing else it keeps him from going to the Angels. It was reported they were talking to him with Weaver going on the dl. Also I feel a little better with him than Feldman if he's healthy.

I don't know for sure overseas and in the various other pro leagues, but the NL may be in a league of its own as a non DH league.

maybe we can have defensive players only and offensive players only also........

the 3 point line would be like baseball moving the fences in or letting them use aluminum bats.

smart you are right about high school but most the time your pitchers hit in high school.

since you have ducked the question you don't believe pitchers should have to face pitching?

is that why you took your baseball pitcher on the pitchers mound with a bat???
