All I'm sayin is that everything has a purpose.......if they didn't they wouldn't be here. And if it wasn't for Conservationist trying to keep them around there wouldn't be none of them around for us to hunt either.

I like them too. Under my shovel.
They do have a purpose.. to scare the bejeebers outta people.

After my brother got his python my mom told him that if it ever got out of its cage the shotgun better be hidden because if it wasn't someone would be buying her new hardwood floors. She falls under the snake hater category too so I can't hold that against anyone. She's so scared of them I don't think she could hit one with a shotgun if she had to.It's hard to hit one with anything when you're runnin in the opposite direction.

The diamondback endangered...... please.
That said, a snakelover in our neighborhood informed me that one of the timber rattlers is considered to be endangered and that there is a $20,000 fine.
This was told to me after I told him that we may or may not have killed a rattler along the colorado river outside of columbus...

I will only say this once, they want to put species under endanger but they trample, cut down forests, and drive many species out of their own natural habitats. Its oxymoron of them to try regulate so much on civilians but do things themselves as well, including drilling, timbers, and such but just because it register money in their eyes...its okay.
