      keep your loved ones and pets away from it for several weeks, and maybe months. there's a reason it is no longer allowed. if you can afford the gluten meal, it works. dallis grass is a tough one due to the tubers in which it stores energy to survive the worst droughts. chopping it out repeatedly, while labor intensive will eventually use up that energy store, and it will die out.

        Not sure what grass oe weed is. I had a grass that is full of small stickers that took over during the drought. I applied weed be gone a few weeks ago and noticed the weed turning brown and dying this week. At first I didn't think it was going to work, but it is. The augustine grass is sparse but still green.

          if using roundup, be sure and read the label where it warns it may kill shrubs and trees too. it is not as they advertise. it is persistent and has been found downstream weeks and months later.
