Taurus TCP or Ruger LCP 380?

    Which and why?

The guns feel pretty similar to me.

I would go Taurus to save a few bucks.

ive shot both and I prefer the ruger.. even though its hard to criticize a small gun, but the ruger just felt better in MY hand. TO ME it felt more balanced.. if you havent shot one of these little guns in 380, get ready. taurus, TO ME, was very snappy and the grip was too slim FOR ME to handle the way I prefer.

Ruger, because it is a Ruger. And not Taurus, because it is a Taurus.

Just my opinion. The only Taurus that I would buy would be the Judge.

Ruger!!! Taurus comes with a life time warranty for a reason you will need it!

i guess this mean every product that has a life time warranty, has that much marranty because it is a POS and is going to break.

i own a taurus pistol and it has been a fantastic gun, and would not hesistate to buy another today if i was in the market.

I have owned both. In my opinion the Taurus is better. It had less felt recoil to me. The LCP was difficult to shoot in comparison to the TCP. Plus my LCP had to go back to Ruger for repairs.

Taurus makes a nice gun. No complaints here. That being said so does the Ruger. And the one my dad had was VERY accurate. Either is a good choice IMO.

I have never shot a Taurus. I do own the rugerand its dependable. Pretty easy to shoot. It's snappy but I can empty 7 rounds into a pie pan on short distance as quick as I can squeeze the trigger and that's what it's for....the trigger sucks but its a close quarters gun and gets carried in a pocket. I've dropped mine twice on concrete out on a pos holster before buying a good one loaded...didn't go off so that's a plus. I have never had a jam other than on one ammo it doeant like. and its breaks down pretty easy. Its always handy and have used it for snakes around the house more than anything

I have shot and owned both and can honestly say they are both great guns. But it I had to pick it would be the ruger LCP due to the magazine base plate being smaller.

The Taurus has been proven to break all of them except the wheel guns. I have shot many of them and failed! Have seen more than I can keep track of that have been returned to manufacture for numbers of reasons.

Just one persons opinion. Taurus has come a long way. No issues out of all the Taurus pistols I have shot and owned over the years.
