Me and my son sat down and watched it last weekend when he was home fom school. Best western ever!

Part of it was filmed in Brackettsville. We were out there a couple of years ago to take the grandkids to see the Alamo village. Was talking with one of the local actors on the set about past movies shot there. Is a real neat place but now falling on some hard times. Not many westerns being shot and visitors are few. Maybe why he spent a few hours shooting the breeze with me.

Lonesome Dove is a real classic. Got an autograph photo of Gus and Call on the entertainment center. Bought the DVD and the books.
