    I thought about diesel but I don't want to put that in my wall, and steel wool is flamable also. I am going to get some of them covers, I have seen them before but couldn't remember where. I will go to tractor supply today and see what they have. I don't think we have mice but you never know for sure. I probably will tell my wife when I kill it but my step son that ran into the house when they seen it the first time will never know, maybe he'll move out.

      If you cover the holes while the snake (or a mouse) is inside your wall, it's gonna smell really bad in a few days. If you can catch whatever critter(s) are going in and out first, and then cover the holes, that would be ideal.
