    Snake in the wall

I have a snake coming into the weep holes in my brick on my back porch. My wife disscovered this yesterday evening when she went out to smoke. I seen it thru the weep hole, it's decent size and I think it may be a cooper head. I sprayed some bug killer up in the holes but that didn't drive it out, now I'm thinking of using some moth balls to see if I can get it out. Any ideas on what else I could try? I thought about leaving alone to help her stop smoking but I have little grandkids that go out there also.

        Oh, great.
        I'd have to move.
Once you find it, maybe you could iinstall some kind of wire grate over the weep holes to prevent unwanted visitors like this from coming in again?

You don't have to tell her that you got rid of it

which is a great reason to keep him and get rid of the mice!

I wouldn't squirt anything flammable into the walls of my house. Get one of those sticky mouse trap things and lay it down in front of the weep hole. When the snake comes out (or tries to go back in), you'll catch him.

if you see him in the weep hole again stick a pistol in there and fill'em with rat/snake shot.

That thread title made me think of that Pink Floyd song.

Steel wool in the weep holes will keep them and the mice out.

They make a special snake repellent and i think tractor supply might carry it. It looks like kitty litter type stuff, but it works. We killed 5 rattles snakes one month at work and put this stuff out and didnt see anymore around the office the rest of the summer.
