    Maybe relocating to Colorado.

Well as some of you may or may not know I work on a drilling rig and I bust my butt. Well I just got a job offer doing something a lot easier and bring home A LOT more money the only catch is my family and I would have to move to Colorado. I'm just trying to get some advice from people that have had to make a choice like this one.

My wife wants to do it, but I'm not sure if I just wanna up root my family when we're pretty stable here.

Colorado and Florida are the only 2 places I would willingly move to if I had the chance and a good reason. I have a buddy that loves to hunt and fish as much as me and he moved to Colorado about 3 years ago and his family loves it. Good luck.

DON'T DO IT!! Make them pay you to work here. If they won't do it, please give them my name and number. Tell them I'm better qualified (don't know what it is, but I'm a quick study).

I am considering moving to Colorado even without a job offer. Beautiful country, plenty of forest to play in, not many negatives to living there if you can handle the winters. If the family and everyone directly affected are up for it then I would recommend going for it. It's never easy moving away from everything and everyone you know, but sometimes you have to take a chance to better your career and life.

Sounds exciting....would depend on where in Colorado. If you or your wife have never lived in the mountains....just know its different. Really different. Half of the year you will be dealing with snow, ice, cold etc...Some people that drives them crazy. You have to like winter wonderland for many months.....which some people hate more than 102 degrees Texas summers. I would simply pray about it and if you get the ok from above..go for it!!! If being around family is huge to you....it could be a problem.
Wish you success!! Colorado is filled with liberal tree huggers but you probably have a few good years left before they screw that state up. I know the tree huggers sure screwed up the bear hunting and now they have the genius idea of re-introducing the wolf...which is stupid. Hope you make the right choice.

Well I feel myself being pulled to go its a great career that will last until I want to retire.

I work in the oilfield so everybody knows it could go away today. I would be home everyday and get to see my wife and kids. And the money is so good it's hard to turn down. I could do it for 15 years and and retire if I choose to.
