    Lol my wife's 2012 jeep grand Cherokee windows quit working cruise control is out and back door lock actuator went out with in 20k miles thank god its under warranty. But it's been in the shop a big part of its life

      It is most likely a shift interlock. It prevents the truck from shifting out of park without pressing the brake. Federal government mandated it years ago. All vehicles have them and it can go out on any of them. It's not uncommon.
      By the way, Fords are built in Amercia, not heaven.....

        IT has something to do with the shift interlock, it is almost like something is stuck. If I step harder than normal on the brake pedal it shifts, I'll look at it today

          Sons F150 had blown fuse which kept it in Park

            My 2006 F150 work truck does the same thing. I've been stuck for 15-20 minutes at times trying to get it into drive, ridiculous. I keep telling my boss that one day I'm going to break the **** shift lever off...
