In Austin that is not an option unless you mean trap and transport at a huge cost to tax payers
since the deer belong to the state they need to handle the nuisance animals. writing a few tickets is not going to fix the problem.

I agree, and the best way would be to hunt them but no way that is going to be allowed either.

exactly right, you cant drive through those neighborhoods in west Austin with out seeing plenty of deer. So you know there are deer there and then buy a house there knowing about the deer then complain about the deer.
No different than the people who buy houses near airports and complain about the airport
