Dont know how big he is, just know that he's been caught before (no ears) and he's is nothing like any other hog ive seen in the woods......long body, long snout, tall legs, no rear end squat.......gotta be a domestic/feral cross of some sort....any guesses?

Hopin to run into him this weekend!
Has to be a cross.. see the color of him and the short hair..Sure has some domestic traits.

See his lack of a tail... Looks to me he was caught and castrated when he was a pig.. See how fat he is and how much body cover all around him.. He has been barred. Most likely the dog took off his ear or some folks will trim the ears off too. This will be a good hog to eat.

Around here some folks will catch a big hog like that and cut its ears off for pure meaness. They call them dog killers.. because the next time someone runs dogs on that hog there are no handles to catch it by.

                  I'm guessing him around 325#

Surely somebody has some pics of 300+ pounders on a scale. Post em if you got em. I bet it will be a real eye opener!

Randy, your thoughts on this pig are the exact same as mine, has to be a cross and i agree with your ear theory, i hunt with dogs that i own and care for i can't stand hearin about people cuttin their ears off to make em "dog killers". Luckily we rarely run into these hogs.

Im thinkin that he should be pretty easy to shut down, hopefully we will soon see, ill post pics on my scale if and when i catch him.

You two simmer down. This old dude HAS to wear hog goggles just to find his feeders and stands.

Stormie, I can't for the life of me figure out what kind of hat you're wearing in your avatar??? Are you a coal miner part time??
