BOLO for 2021 Dodge Charger Scat

Please be on the lookout for the charger in the pic, stolen from studio movie grill this evening in Richardson. Waiting for it to stop so Uconnect can give us a GPS update.

That stinks. Why would it need to stop for Uconnect to get GPS?

It’s just saying that the vehicle is in motion and won’t update until it is parked. We tried to call the number for reporting the theft to see if they could track it better but they are closed

Amateur car thief's apparently. Usually they reprogram the whole car with a new fob

What good is a security device if the people monitoring it take the weekend or the night off? Sheesh! Thanks for the heads up.

My good buddy has a TRX and has resorted to putting a steering wheel lock on his truck to try and deter the new generation of thieves. These super charged dodge vehicles have to be one of the most stolen vehicles right now.

So apparently these cars are very easy to steal. Sorry about your car.

ANY new car built today is easy to steal. Basically takes a subpar computer hacker. I've seen video of brand new trucks stolen within 30 seconds of them approaching the vehicle. With all the complicated advancements of modern vehicles. A thief will find a way.

Which is mind boggling to me. I witness trained technicians who manage to lock up 20 + modulea programming Key Fobs, with factory equipment.

Back when we had multiple metal keys, 1 door, 1 ignition it atleast took a few minutes and making noise to steak a car.

When you see the usual suspects that steal cars then you have to think it must be really easy to do.
