My 10 year old son loves these Dodges. He told me exactly how they are stolen so easily, and it doesn't seem like rocket science.

Hopefully they find it before it ends up on a street takeover video.

the only thing that I know of that stops this

Home page for the Ravelco anti theft device, anti theft device for cars, anti theft device for trucks, anti theft device for big rigs, anti theft device for heavy equipment. Not one vehicle ever stolen using the Ravelco Anti Theft Device!

I put one on my new truck after losing one to thieves. Things are absolutely bulletproof.

I hope you get it back. Paint it pink, nobody will want it then.

Well if they recover it, you get it back after these clowns have been literally driving it like they stole it. I wouldn't want it back, I'd hope it never turned up and the insurance would come through. But then you are dealing with the crooked insurance companies that want your money every month but never want to pay the true value of a vehicle. Hope it works out for the best for you how ever the chips fall. Good luck

Which is mind boggling to me. I witness trained technicians who manage to lock up 20 + modulea programming Key Fobs, with factory equipment.

Back when we had multiple metal keys, 1 door, 1 ignition it atleast took a few minutes and making noise to steak a car.
A 3rd grader can do it. Amazon prime and 500 bucks is all it takes to be Nicholas Cage

Sounds like it's insurance payments now. The motor is sold off and into another car, seats and tires on facebook

The shop wouldn’t answer the door for the officer, I believe it comes down to a search warrant now.

the car isn’t mine, it is a couple that is like our children and we will do anything to take care of. The car only has 6500 miles on it, they only drive it for special weekend occasions and their wedding. It is killing me not to drive down to the shop and run my truck through the bay door but I am keeping a level head for the moment and trying to let law enforcement handle it.

I doubt a flipper zero and late model cars will get you sway though.

I agree, you didn't want it back after the first 5 minutes.

Man that's brutal but it sure would be nice if the POSs were caught no matter what shape the car is in. Please keep us updated.

If you don’t mind me asking- what is the approximate cost of purchasing the Ravelco?

As I recall it’s $750 unless you want a 3rd kill plug. Unless they’ve gone up in their price at least.

Worth it though and I’m pretty sure it saved my 2022 Ram 1500 last year. I walked out for work one morning to see the step in the driver’s side was folded out, looked at the door and it was slightly ajar. I didn’t leave the truck like that the day before.
