Maybe I’m putting my feeder too late and missing out on the action? It’s going off at 630pm and 630 am

Kill’em all! I have started carrying a rifle with me to blinds with more open views. It would be nice to keep a throw down rifle in all of our blinds.

I bought a small single shot .243 for that reason. It’s threaded now just to get a suppressor

sunrise here is almost 7am. Mine are set for 7:30am and 4:45pm. It’s hot in the evening, but they are out there.

Mine go off at 6:45 & 7:15am and 7:45 & 8:15pm. I try to keep the first feed in the morning about 15min before actual sunrise and the last feed in the evening about 45min before dark.

Do you see the deer coming back in? Or do you feed twice to just have more corn on the ground while they are there?

Usually, the axis will come in, eat, and leave. More times it’s on the first feed, sometimes on the second feed.

the whitetail will shy back if there are axis there, and totally leave if it’s a bunch of axis.

If they eat all the feed from the first feed and wander off, almost always some will come back on the second feed.
