i replaced my water driven polaris with a dolphin and it works great. i wish i would have bough the blue tooth version but i don't think the rechargeable would have worked as well for me.
that being said, i have the old polaris and feeder hose and whatever spare pieces i have from rebuilding it over the years. i will probably just chunk it in the next week or so unless someone wants it and will come get it
I have a Polaris Alpha IQ+. Cleans great, climbs walls and scrubs. I barely have to brush except for my steps. Unfortunately it went south on me in the fall but just inside the warranty period. Sat at Leslies for 6 weeks right during peak leaf drop season and they had about a dozen others in the shop all waiting on parts. My buddy who cleans pools said 4 of those alone were from his customers. I guess I'm not recommending Polaris....
I was looking at the same thing when my 280 stopped working like it should. But poor reviews and the 2 people i know in pool business both said to rebuild my 6year old 280. $100 rebuild kit and 30mins later, it works better than it did new i think

The trash is where those things belong. I rebuilt ours over and over and over in a very short period of time. We got a wired remote cleaner that did well and lasted a few years. A few weeks ago my wife bought a new wired one on the recommendation of our pool service guy. I don't want to know what that cost. 🙄
Update. Got the WYBOT last week. I have run it several times. It runs for about 1.5-2 hours on full charge. I am ok with that. Does ok on picking stuff up. But it did say it could take a month to fully learn the pool and best route.
We have a Dolphin Nautilus CC Plus, with no problems, have had it about 3 years

Update: so, my Dolphin started acting up, would start for 20 seconds and then stop, would have to unplug it and start it again would maybe run for 10 minutes and stop. My buddy had the same problem last year; I called him up and he ended up cutting out the swivel part and hard wired it up. Used some adhesive lined heat shrink tubing and it works great (told me he has only had one time that the hose got into a knot) so did the same thing this morning and it works like it should. Just a FYI for everybody
