    Washington DC

If you were to find yourself going to Washington DC this summer for vacation what are some must do things you would do. Capital, Lincoln memorial, Tomb of the unknow solider and Smithsonian are for sure on list, but is there anything off the beaten path you would recommend.

You could maybe get your picture taken on the Black Lives Matter street.👍👍

I haven't been in over 30 years, but Arlington cemetery was by far my favorite part. My daughter lives there now, and my wife visited several months ago so I'll have to check with them and get back to you.

The Museum of the Bible is really cool. Some great churches you can attend on Sunday if that is your thing.

All of the monuments/buildings are definitely worth seeing. Some excellent places to eat near the Capitol.

If youre into aviation, a trip to Dulles and the Udvar-Hazy center is well worth it. Much bigger than the Air and Space museum in DC.

Also the Holocaust Museum is a must see.

Sure thing. I have been twice. Never enough time of course. Lisa and her fellow professors have a conference in Baltimore this week and will take a couple of extra days to go tour it. Hopefully when she gets back she can jar my memory of some more. I know Taz will love the Air and Space Smithsonian as well as the Natural History with the dinosaurs

Are there any fish in that cement pond? Maybe stretch a trotline across it?

I hope ya'll find some fun things to do and enjoy it. I was there about five years ago and also a few weeks ago. I did not care for it either time. And, of all the cities I have ever visited it had the worst food. But, I still think it is a place to see history. If nothing else just to be able to say you dropped in and said hi.

There are some really beautiful state parks all around the bay. We camped at Elk Neck and it was really nice.
