It doesn't make sense not to just buy one ready to go. Everybody makes them now.

I like to carry my 10/22 truck gun but I hate the crown getting dinged so I have a short chunk of stiff rubber hose pushed on the end of the barrel with holes drilled in it and foam pipe insulation over the hose. I keep it muzzle down on the floorboard riding on the passenger side

That Begara BXR or the Savage A22 is exactly what i'm looking for. Then i can still have my SS 10/22 as a truck gun until i decide to barrel swap it and put a suppressor on.

I just bought a threaded barrel for my 10/22 takedown. Only cost around $150 with tax and shipping, and shoots great.

Threaded barrel and a Volquartsen bolt. Trigger isn't a bad idea either. I've gone down that rabbit hole and ended up with a heavy tack driver. Fun to shoot but ended buying a cz 457 mtr that became my go-to, although i bought it to shoot prs matches.

Bergara, tikka or cz would be the only one's I'd look at if buying something else, either way they're going to be money pits. At least for me they are, can't leave them alone.

I like the idea of the open top action. Never heard of FRW before.

Been buying his surpressors. Has a really nice machine shop in Dallas area with 5x mills. Solves a real problem with 10/22's - takedown, cleaning, accuracy, etc.

His newest surpressor he introducing & shipping this month is a 3D printed Ti

Should have feedback on it on a AR10 vs his standard Ti can which I have been using

                  Great guy
