Lake Conroe 2025 Bulkhead Thread!

ok. I am looking for a guide to take me and my son, maybe his girlfriend too the week of april 21st. I am looking to load the freezer up with catfish and whatever else. I do not have to have a guide but do not have a boat. I will pay for all expenses if not a guide. We are fishing people will come with rods, ice chest and beverages/food

Who would you recommend or is willing.

I’ve went with Bradley before he was nice and patient and filled the freezer

as others have said, end of 830. Easy paddle with a canoe to a bunch of great holes. PM and I'll tell you where.

Made a random 11am trip after being in conroe for work. Bite had laid off by then but still scratched out 3 channels.

We are gonna make one run in the morning to the bulkheads and then start pounding Rayburn for crappie! We still need a need a few more bags of fillets for a fish fry. I have given away 8qt bags of fillets this spring and only have 3 left myself.

This morning was really slow. 10 degrees cooler this morning and I think it knocked the fish back.

well I should say my wife and son did because I never even lost a single shrimp much less catch a fish….

We had a slow day as well, shad were thick everywhere we went but only caught 10 and 5 or 6 big bluegill. Chasing bass and crappie tomorrow
