I ask this very simple but it extremely difficult question for a reason. Some may remember when HogBoy (Gary) stayed logged in 24/7 and graciously opened the gates to "The Hilton" for many in need of a place to hunt and/or clear their head. He would go over and beyond to insure he and Sil made everyone feel welcomed and part of the family. After I joined, for many years I considered myself active and assisted where I could here and there but, times are changing and we are getting older.
I was fortunate enough to be able to purchase a TBH flag when they first became available. It was proudly displayed on my shop wall where it watched as I repaired many an "Ugly Gun" before almost getting into a little trouble with an alphabet agency over those ugly pew pews. When I found myself lease less and Gary invited me over I took that old flag with me. Sitting around a campfire passing around a jar of white lightning with several who are no longer with us. I knew the flag had found a new home. It stood overwatch for a good decade at the HogBoy Hilton until this past Monday when Gary asked me to pass it onto someone else who is more active. As we sat visiting my mind wondered off to all the fallen greats and I realized I am a has been and had no clue who to pass it to.
Hence the reason for this post. That silly little flag has been all over the place and still looks as new as the day I got it from Mary except for mine and the HogBoy's signatures. Anyway, we want to give it away to someone active and if that person appreciates its lineage that would make it all the better. So, what say you? Whom amongst us is worthy of a token of friendship and brotherly love?
All the best and God Bless,
Michael
