If you are looking at med school, I recommend that you contact the Navy Medical Department recruiters. They can tell you all of the requirements of specific programs.
If you are looking at a masters program, you are certainly entitled to tuition assistance, but, depending on your MOS (sorry, Army term!) you may be able to go into a program, simply be a student and receive your full pay and allowances AND have the program cost covered. Your only responsibility is school and owing extra time in exchange for the degree. Again, contact the department in charge of your MOS/Rating. They will have all of the pertinent information.
Good luck!

If you join in Texas and meet certain requirements, there is the Hazelwood Act. It pays for 150 hrs at any public Texas school, after your GI Bill has been used up. This is transferable to your children, step-children, and grandchildren.
