Go see my buddy Chris at The Butcher Block. I haven't been yet, but Chris is an amazing chef and a great guy. I can't imagine he would put anything out there that wasn't great.

Discover premium, hand-cut meats and handcrafted barbecue at The Butcher Block. From succulent steaks to tender, slow-smoked ribs, we offer top-quality cuts and exceptional service for all your culinary needs.

I also have a contact for an awesome private chef if you would like it.

Pura Vida! You are gonna be hooked in many ways. That place is incredible! We usually fish on the Top Notch but I don't see it on the board. The waterfall tour is a good one also. This vrbo is our friends place that we go to every year.

It's a great house that sleeps at least 4 families with kids bc that's our group every year.

For those asking about the chef - I'll report in when we get back, but Andy at Quepos Fishing Adventures booked us a chef for 2 nights that is included in his package price. He will cook whatever we catch plus extras that we choose. We leave in 2 days and it is becoming increasingly difficult to focus at work!

We just got back yesterday. Fished two days offshore out of Quepos. The weather and seas were perfect.

                            7 sails
                            1-100# tuna
                            1-300# blue marlin

Just in from inshore trip. Landed one rooster. Hooked 4 others but no luck getting to boat. 3 monster Spanish maceral and a jack reveled. 5 snapper to eat. Was a good day with lots of bites for 2 of us. Offshore on Thursday

We have a house rented in Quepos/Manuel Antonio for 8 days, 2 offshore trips and 1 inshore trip, whitewater rafting and ATV tours booked. Everyone that has been seems to have enjoyed their time there, so we can't wait. I hope to post pictures and a summary when we get back to help others that might be planning a trip. Sailfish, Dorado (Mahi Mahi), Tuna and Roosterfish are the main quarry. Now just gotta wait...which is the hard part!
                                How was y'alls trip?
