After you see all the giant crocs in the river between San Jose and Quepos you may think twice on rafting. There is a lot of little shops at the river and well known stooping point, can’t recall the name but some big ones, impressive to see in the wild.

We stayed here and it was awesome. It's right in the middle of Manuel Antonio and Quepos. It was on VRBO but I guess they removed it. The hose and pool was so cool some in our group didn't want to leave for excursions. We were having drinks in the pool one evening and had monkeys invade us. One of them came and drank from the pool and the kids hand fed them.

Not sure why it's not on AirBNB anymore, it's a great place. Looks like it's being rented through FV Rentals now.

Im the only one in our group that’s been before. It was my favorite trip out of the country I’ve been on. Can’t wait to go back

Yes, we booked the house through Andy. We booked about a year ago, so we had the pick of quite a few houses. If you price out a house and separate fishing, it was about the same or perhaps a little cheaper with Andy, not to mention much easier process only dealing with one person.

Here is the board for yesterday..(I guess our captain exaggerated on the catch because it wasn’t 4 and 4! lol)

Someone can correct me if I'm wrong but I don't think you can keep roosterfish in CR. We're hoping to get a Mahi or other table fare to have the chef cook.

NEW! Ocean View*Private Waterfall*Near the Beach! - Houses for Rent in Savegre, Provincia de Puntarenas, Costa Rica - Airbnb

we really enjoyed it, the property manager did anything we asked, booking trips etc. One of the best things we did is use his private chef, he brought all the groceries and cooked a great dinner, then returned and cooked breakfast the morning we were leaving. If i remember right it was only like $35/person for that/2meals

We fished with Double Nickel on our last trip. We released 11 sails in one day and thought we were king ding-a-ling.

They landed 37 in one day last week. It’s on fire down there right now!

That's starting to sound like a lot of work...not sure my wife and I could handle that, but I'm willing to try

Well I'm officially booked with them for March 15th. Plan to drive up to the Arenal area for a couple days then 5 more days in Manuel Antonio.
