          KISS----------Don`t over think this. No need to buy any of those overpriced blends that are salt heavy. Salt is cheap.

          2 Part - #16 Mesh Black Pepper
          1 Part- Kosher salt
          Lawry's Seasoned Salt
          Garlic Powder

            I’ve tried a bunch of store bought rubs and mixes friends have suggested, but I don’t think you can beat garlic salt and black pepper.

                …. add Knorr Beef Bouillon powder to your kosher salt and coarse black pepper mix.

                  Kosher salt, 16 mesh black pepper mixed 50/50 by volume. Then add some crushed black pepper to both sides as well.

                          I’m no expert at smoking brisket but I’ve always had good luck with HEB’s black pepper and salt BBQ rub.
