Just after Christmas the wife and I decided to get her back in a new car. She was done with jumping in and out of the jeep and was looking to get another Cadillac. We went to the dealership looking at Escalades and Denali's. I of course wandered over the the CT4-V and CT5-V line up. After looking at all the options we decided not to spend the money on big and roomy and went for comfy and fast for the same money. We got a smoking deal buying the last three days of the year on the last 24 model they had on the lot. This thing is a monster with the 6.2ltr supercharged lt4. Makes 668hp and has a 10 speed auto. I thought my 67 Camaro was fast and it will break the tires loose doing a 60mph roll. It wont touch this car. With the purchase comes a 2 day track class they call the Cadillac V-Academy. I am signing up for it in March/April timeframe. Its in Nevada and should be a blast. Thanks for reading. Just wanted to share my excitement.

Your biggest challenge now is what your next set of tires are gonna be...I only got 6k out of the goodyear supercars :-)

I 'think' most who daily drove went with the intermediate Michelin Cup 2 for their 2nd set. The regular track guys had 2 sets of tires with the track tires being lighter to cut down on the rotational mass.
Your track days are gonna be a blast, but whatever tires are on there now will be toast after the weekend :-)
