My first three suppressors were QD and then I went to direct thread on every one after that and prefer direct thread by far.
Yeah with brakes and such they're 3-4 oz extra weight at least plus some length. I like my QD for ARs and such and I'll keep using them but for my mountain rifle it's DT, those ounces matter.

just added a couple of those HUXWRX flow tTI and a Scythe-TI to the arsenal in the last couple of weeks.

I also added a short, small flow to my 17 hmr and really like how that one feels on the end of the proof barrel.

as before, we started with the quick detach and quickly moved away from it.

year end goal is to have a dedicated can on every gun and add a fourth integrally suppressed to the lineup.

i hate wearing hearing protection with a passion.

You’ve got a Proof barrel in 17 HMR? As far as I was aware they dont produce any .177 barrels in either carbon or steel. However I’d love to be proven wrong. I’d snag a .177 blank today if they offered it in carbon. My boys Rimx needs an upgrade.
