I went with the Scythe TI as they are rated for pressures up to a 300 RUM. I needed something that was rated for higher than a 300 WM for my 28 nosler and 7mm STW. I was more concerned with a small, lightweight footprint as I do a lot more hunting than target shooting. So far, I have been very pleased with it. I think it is just as quiet as any of the bigger suppressors I have been around. Hope this helps.

Anybody have any experience with the Otter Creek Labs Polonium or Polonium K? Reviews seem to be really good for a lower priced compact suppressor. My brother has two in the process on top of the numerous other brands he already owns. He has my interest peaked with them as maybe an entry level in compact form. I really like the compact aspect as I am thinking of putting one on a Tikka T3X 22-250 and a Ruger Gen 2 7mm-08 or 6.5 Creedmoor...

I would go with a Diligent Defense Enticer-LTI or any of the enticer series. They are great cans and beat prices for comparative cans by quite a bit. I had my brother buy the LTI as his first can and it is noticeably quieter and lighter than any can I have compared it to. We have 2 cans that are 2-300$ more expensive and the LTI blows them out of the water. I have heard good things about the Scythe also and know there are other good cans out there, but the LTI is hard to beat for the price IMO.

I run Q cherry bombs for quick detach but have gone to direct thread lately. Like others have said it takes no time to thread them on, and you don't have to worry about changing muzzle devices, having them with every gun, the muzzle device coming off with the can, etc. It has been a lot easier and I just check and make sure the can has not loosened every now and then.

Here you go OP, modern design and fairly lightweight. Pickup extra muzzle devices for all of your guns and easy to swap. I was gonna pickup a Schythe TI until I handled the XC, got mine in DT though as it'll be dedicated to one rifle.

Lotta dudes are getting the K for their 223 bolts. I have one on backorder now, planning to get the wife a 6mm CM and see how it performs. I suspect it'll be fine but if not I'll buy it a bolt .223 to live on and she can practice with cheaper ammo. The K is 6mm/243 max though so for your 6.5 and 7-08 you'll have to go with their 30 cal model. For the size and weight you have a lot of other options in cans for a few bucks more.

Gotcha....yeah I was looking at the Polonium 30 for the 6.5/7mm. I forgot to add that part. I'll look at other options but I sure like that price for an entry level into this thing. I have Bauer Precision here in my backyard so I'll go up there and look around. Thanks for the reply.

This right here^^^, this beats all my other cans easily and less expensive. I thought the dead air nomad ti was the best, boy was I wrong. What ever you do get titanium

I have the HUXWRX Ventum 762 on a gas gun and Scythe-TI on a gas gun and like both. The Scythe will be moving to a bolt gun soon but overall pleased with both.

I would recommend the Dead Air Nomad. Don't go with QD. Its just added length and weight. It takes no time to direct thread a can and it saves you the cost of adding all those adapters on.

My first three suppressors were QD and then I went to direct thread on every one after that and prefer direct thread by far.

The Silencerco Evo was going for $394 and seems people like it fine for the price, might see if there's still deals on that as well. The Otter Creek stuff is perpetually backordered which adds to the annoying wait time for all these toys.
