It's 23 here in southern OK. Just finished running the trapline with hubby and now settling in on the couch with a big fuzzy blanket and hot cup of coffee. Bring it on!

Ch. 5 news saying 4”-9” of snow Thursday into Friday….we’ll see. Usually if they call it, it doesn’t happen.

heah I just read snow/ice is possible down the I35 corridor from DFW to Austin. Maybe that will get me out of driving to Austin for a wedding this weekend

The old sage of ch.5, Harold Taft, used to say “if you never predicted snow, you’d only be wrong once a year”. This was for DFW.

Thank goodness I got an electric fireplace in this rv or I'd be having to run the durn heater all night to keep from freezing I'm this rv here in Bertram.

There is little agreement among the major models right now, other than we can expect some sort of winter weather end of week. They literally range from a foot of snow/ice for a large swath of Texas to less than 1/2” across a narrow strip.

i think i20 is the focal point and parts may see 4-6”

Yeah, the wind is brutal! Spent a while out in the driveway yesterday working on my DIL's truck. She went to McD's drive through and her window wouldn't go back up.

Mother Nature acting normal. We may not like it but it does have a purpose other than making us chilly. When we get a winter without a good hard freeze, it makes me wonder what spring and summer will bring that I don't like.
