Years ago we use to put growth enhancing pellets in our steers ears to promote body growth. I think it is possible both ways. Selective breeding with specific does and bucks can create some pronounced specific antler configurations and growth. Best feed and animal care practices would make it possible it’s no different than that one freak low fence deer that scores 200 killed in the hill country. He just had the stuff to do it. I am sure you could add stuff to his feed also. I think most of these deer look horrible, like they grazed at the nuclear plant.
