Off topic - IMO all new cars should come with built in cameras. They have everything else these days. Any reason they don't come with dash cams?

Not to mention that most higher end cars and trucks already have 360 degree backup cameras. I am sure they just need to install some software and a way to store the data.

Leaning towards a Viofo product at this time. I like the separate camera in the front that does NOT attach over the rear view mirror. Will get a combo product that has a front & rear camera with plans to hardwire into fuse box which looks fairly straightforward

Several good options I also considered from Wolfbox & Vantrue with each having similar features and designs.
