yeah.. they need to rename the show to "field superintendent". LMAO

I don't understand why it's so hard to use proper terminology to make a TV show. it doesn't change anything..

you don't have a "blowout" on a gathering system. you don't use roughnecks on production locations.

the hammer hitting the pipe wrench was tough to watch. There are a million other things they could have shown that could have caused an explosion. like maybe billy bob's son walks into a hot zone with an electronic device that's not intrinsically safe, blows everyone up.. then it really is his fault for killing the crew.

for about $5500 they could have hired almost anyone in the oilfield for a day and tightened up on the improper phrases.

billy bob's ex in the show is a smokeshow and I will continue to watch. and him telling the cop off in the hospital was about as funny as anything I've seen on TV .

The show would be junk with out Billy Bob. I can only see a few actors pulling that off.

I'm learning to just FF theough the "oilfield" stuff.

It will be a cold day in hell when a land man decides when to work to over a well. LoL The start and end of that episode were trash, the middle was pretty good.

The wind turbine deal was not right at all.

That "white boy" is going to get killed, yet. LoL

"Billy Bob Thornton has a style hack that might surprise you: Women's jeans.

The 69-year-old Hollywood icon spilled the secret during his appearance on The Drew Barrymore Show, which aired Tuesday, November 19, explaining that the fit just works better for him.

"The reason I don't like to wear men's jeans is because they're all too baggy," Thornton said. "I've got bird legs and it just feels like I'm in a tent. I like a nice fit and they fit great with boots."

Like my Dad used to say. "He's got a bad case of noassatall."

Is Four 6s vodka made from taters, grain, or horse apples ? Asking for a friend.

I'm still trying to figure out the 1100 gallon oil truck that the company owns, also. It ain't milk, oil is measured in barrels. No matter what kind of barrel you convert from we couldn't get 1100g. Trucks haul 160-180ish barrels.

... and contracted trucking companies haul oil. Not oil and gas producers.

It’s a tv drama show. Not a documentary.

Are any west Texas wells powered by turbines?
I thought natural gas or diesel was used for the pump jacks.

Not sure why this show is called “landman”,
but I’ve only watched two episodes.

                                Enjoying it so far.
