I can say that if the new ones are as good as the Lifts they oughta sell quite well. I am going to stick with my Lift for now. I like it a whole lot.
Do you have the bee real 2.0 or the original grip?

i did get a peak at a couple of models today at Brush to Bay. Not much difference in appearance from the original Lift. But, the two biggest “issues” that I mentioned in my Lift videos from last year were the inability to tune without a press (I had to have different shops change the top hats multiple times) and that I would be changing the grip (I went with a Total Peep Tech Grip over the Ultraview Bee Real.) Aside from (hopefully) resolving limb issues that some bows experienced (I didn’t, personally, have any issues), the new “Limb Shift” tuning system and the Bond” grip options appear to be the most significant, and welcome, changes to the Lift X 29.5 and 33. Of course, they also introduced new models to the lineup for short (RS) and long (XD) draw lengths.
I love my Total Peep Tech Grip Michael

Same. After looking at the options, I decided I’m going to stick with my Tech Grip on the Lift X.

Another frustration I had with the top hats is that the shop(s) had to remove the strings/cables and had some difficulty putting them back on without changing the string twist and cable timing. Being able to make quick changes without a press is a welcome game changer for Mathews.

One trick I have is to carefully slip a round soft plastic rod through the bearings and set the cam down between the limb pairs. The yokes are gonna come off but the rod keeps them from untwisting. Tophats are worlds better than shims. But, if the new systems works well and stays in place that will be a game changer. My only question is how hard is it to take the cam out with the screw in the shaft? I want to deconstruct one to see how it works.

I’ll leave that to you! For me, there’s a fine line between deCONstruction and DEstruction!

12-14 turns out of the cam shift screw and it’s out.

Do you like it? I had the original and loved it, debated just getting another one of them but figured I’d try the 2.0

Y’all are killing me! Here I am all settled in with my 29.5 v3x all tricked out and is deadly Then y’all bring up these new flagships . I wasn’t interested in upgrading any years soon until I saw the 27.5 RS version… this is probably going to hurt my banking account lol.

I wish they would come back out with a 32-34 inch ATA SOLOCAM hunting bow again. (think switchback LD with new technology)

Going to shoot the Lift 33 soon...maybe santa will deliver one lol

Stopped by CCR today and ordered the RS so I’ll have a brand spanking new lift in the classifieds shortly. I’ve only had it a few weeks bought it brand new Oct 29th.

That RS was just too good of a fit for me to pass up. I’m a sucker for the short ATA bows.

I played with the RS today. I was hoping to be able to use the shift tech to tune it but it shot bullet holes out of the box. That was disappointing. Anyway, the Limb Shift Screw (what I'm calling it) basically appears to replace the top hat on one side. I assume the cam shaft runs through it. It is neither hard nor easy to turn and appears to stay where you leave it. I plan on deconstructing one tomorrow. Based on Fishndude's post above it sounds like the shift screw will need to come out to get the shaft out. I'll post the process when I finish the surgery.
