I enjoyed getting to spend more time with the infamous Brady Moser and my boys are also huge fans. Y’all did it right…again. I’m lucky to be the beneficiary of a father/son project of this magnitude. There will be many kids shoot their firsts from there, so you’ve certainly passed it on.
A job well done! Outstanding, sir. And to think, you were even doing it for yourself.
That gets me…right…here.
Assuming you meant “weren’t”, like I said, we made a deal on this. They compensated me for my time very fairly, and I owe those guys more than a little bit for various things over the years. I’ve built a couple blinds similar to this one for myself, but I wouldn’t do it for just anyone.
In the end, I feel like we both got more than we bargained for on the deal, and that’s the best way to go when dealing with good friends.
I don’t think there is any question that the biggest yields are yet to come, and they should continue beyond our lifetimes with Ben and Zac’s kiddos….barring a direct hit from an F4 twister….In which case…we’ll build a bigger one.
I didn’t take any pics with their kiddos (because it’s 2024 and you never know), but they have 4 boys and a girl between them. They are all completely different, one from the next…and all AWESOME!
side note: is it just me, or is the long bed pickup making a comeback?
IMO...if you have a toolbox in the bed and/or haul very much stuff, a long bed is the only way to go. I've been driving 1-ton LWB trucks for a long time and never have I thought that a further walk to wherever I'm parking at was too much of an inconvenience (too long for up front parking spots), and was worth shifting to a shorter bed.
