    This was the right combo. The air hammer I got from harbor freight for sub 20 bucks broke the rest of the bearing wheel off and maybe shook it loose. Gave me the extra grab I needed for the pipe wrench and the needle nose did the rest.

    Thanks for all the info.

    idler wheel replaced. Lookin good

              Other option next time to is to grind a big slot in it where you can get a big flathead bit in it.

              I have some of those big flat head bit heads that are back to 3/8 for a ratchet. Work pretty good when you have something like that.

                  The trick to those type of bolt removal from the get go is to clean the cavity well at the start so the tool is fully seated. Allways use a quality tool that fits with no slop and even then you sometimes only get that one shot so make it count! Just curious what year and model is that MB? Kompressor?
