Yep, and the frizzy headed French named idiot is already calling for the “assault weapon” ban for yet the ten thousandth time. You know, the one Walz carried in battle.
We know that won’t stop deranged people from doing this, and I don’t know what will. Neither do they, but that doesn’t stop them from saying whatever they want to in order to disarm us.
Normal people don’t shoot up kids (or anyone else), but these shooters aren’t normal. I believe that it will never be stopped until a higher power stops it. Prayers for the victims, parents, and the others affected by this crap. -
I'm about 15 miles away in a neighboring county. I was heading to Home Depot, and I saw several or our Oconee Deputies and a State Trooper running lights and sirens down 316 towards Barrow County. When I left Home Depot, I saw a Barrow Fire Rescue ambulance heading into Athens. I assumed there was a bad wreck on 316.
It appears they have a suspect in custody and Atlanta news is reporting 4 dead and 30 injured. Other sources are saying 2 dead and only a few injured.

Pretty crazy but on que. We were just talking about this exact thing yesterday at work saying, "it won't be long before there is another mass shooting"...... And here it is.

There's evil all over this world. Can't go a week it seems like without hearing about someone killin their own child or someone elses. At this point it's pretty routine and not as shocking as it should be. Ain't no way to ban it. There's only one way to get rid of it and by the time someone has that option it's too late.
The shooter will be in prison getting 3 meals a day and a bed to sleep in for the rest of their life. And maybe, just maybe....25 or 30 years from now they'll be executed by the State.Comment

Did I hear "in custody?" If so, doesn't sound like it fits the tin foil narrative. If it were something concocted by some organized political entity, the shooter would never have been allowed to live.Comment

I saw a video from Fox News where they interviewed a student. The student stated that the shooter was her classmate and she saw the shooter. They didn't ask her to describe the shooter. That seems strange. If I was a journalist, I'd want to know everything about the shooter. Age, gender, race, weapon, family, attitude, ect.Comment

It's no different than the last 50 mass shootings and it won't be any different than the next 150. There's always been evil in this world and there always will be. An assault weapon ban will almost certainly solve the problem.
If a would be shooter can’t get an assault rifle and instead grabs a standard pump shotgun without an extended magazine like a police or home defense shotgun, he can only load five rounds. (4 in the magazine tube and 1 in the chamber)
Let’s say that he only gets to reload the shotgun one time with an additional five rounds of #1 buckshot, he can only put about 300 projectiles down range in a few seconds.
Thanks goodness if we could keep his hands off of an assault rifle.
