Salt will kill it cheaper, not as quickly but much longer lasting. Just get some 50# bags of rock salt and cover the yard thick with it. It'll kill everything

will probably take a while for anything to grow back though, too.
Soil sterlizer for bare earth is the way to go but it can get pricy however it pays for istelf in the labor saved in repeated treatments. We use Sahara DG or generic equivalent. Lasts about a year. After a couple years treatments can be spread out to every few years. Mix with roundup for a faster burn down.
Paraquat will kill everything including the applicator (you) if you are not careful. Also paraquat crystallizes when it dries. The crystals will then blow in the wind and when they re-hydrate it will kill everything there as well. Be real careful with that stuff. My Dad was a crop duster for years, and almost refused to put the stuff out because of how dangerous it was.

THis^^^^^ Sahara will get it done for sure.
Not sure if you have a john deere landscape in or around arlington but try them. they bought out Lesco a couple years ago.
I am a licensed applicator and can instruct anyone on how to use a chemical. i would be responsible for the application. Just check around with any of you farmer friends and ask for Tordon. Mix according to directions, add app 5% diesel and add remendy per mixing instructions. Nothing will grow there for 3 years. About $250 will kill lots of stuff
