Don’t know if it was the same strain Jerp but wife had those same symptoms, took home test and was positive. Day later hit me. Difference was mine started the same then went into flu symptoms with body aches, chills, sinuses, fever over 100 for two days. Our 29 year old symptoms came the day after mine. Sinus, slight fever, fatigue. He went to bed early and by the next evening his fever was gone, no symptoms. Day three tested negative.
I’m 14 years older than my wife and my case was the worst. And I’m actually in better shape than my wife. And hers was worse than our sons.
The wife and I both had it back in May. Our symptoms were low grade fever, hot flashes and fatigue. My wife had some congestion, but I didn't have much. It literally felt like someone shot me with a tranqualizer dart. Worst symptoms were for about 48 hours and we both started feeling much better after. My wife had a lingering cough for about 10 days. Like just about anything else, I think the severity is all over the place as far as how sick people get and for how long.
As for testing positive, my understanding is you can test positive outwards to like 2 weeks; which is pretty similar to flu. You aren't contagious after a handful of days.
This is what I had a week or so ago. Lasted 2 1/2 days. No cough but a massive headache. Right at the very start it felt like the flu hit hard. Body ached all over. Then I slept a ton for two days (day and night). Was weird having "the flu" but no runny nose, coughing, vomiting, or diarrhea...
I didn't take a covid test. Never have and never will. Don't understand the point.
Strain don’t matter - tip back on that ivermectin tube - it’s the tbh way
I did just that. After a day long trip to the lease with my friend & he is also on the lease. He calls the next day and says his wife tested positive and he is feeling bad. Just a heads up. I stopped by TS on my way home and grabbed a tube. Took some daily for 4-5 days( how ever long the tube lasted). I never felt bad. Just lucky I guess.
My son got it a few years ago and still has loss of smelling.
continued positive test results even after your no longer contagious is the reason CDC stopped requiring a Neg test result to return to work and now say you can return to work 7 days after first symptom.
Last week for me. Tuesday started to get the ol throat tickle that said maybe something was coming. By Thursday I just generally felt bad, mild fever, cough, conjestion. By Saturday I started feeling better and today its just a little conjestion left, but I'm wondering if there aren't some allergies mixed in there, too, as this is the time of year that typically gets me. I never tested, but I couldn't smell anything at all from thursday on so I assume it was Covid. Yesterday the smells already started coming back, though.
Kind of has me wondering if Covid cured the common cold. As in, before we used to get a cold every so often, now when you get a little sick it'll be covid and a regular cold is no more.

As I understand it, the Carona virus has been around almost as long as man and, more often than not, is the cause of what we refer to as the Common Cold (although the common cold can be caused by other viruses too…rhinovirus, for example).
Think my son had it at the end of July, about 2 weeks of sore throat, fatigue, moderate cough and stomach symptoms.
i also think we unintentionally elongated it. About 4 days in he perked up and we thought he was over it and let him spend the night with a friend. He crashed the next day, worse than before. Think he stayed up to late and his body still needed rest to fight the infection.
pretty sure I have it now. Feels like a cold. Head congestion, but in my nasal sinuses, it’s in my ears, dry unproductive cough, and occasional headache.
Much better, thanks. There was still a very faint pink line on the test strip this morning but no symptoms so I came to work. There are only two other people in my office and they are easy to avoid.
