Look into Cody Wy. Went up there two weeks ago and you can go to Yellowstone, but I'd recommend checking out Beartooth and the Buffalo Bill museum as well
This is the plan for next year. Wife came up last minute wanting to go somewhere and I said let’s go see the girls. I really wanted to go there, but need more time to plan.
Colorado is awesome right now. 42 degrees in Breckenridge this morning. Highs have been in the mid 60’s. Lots of stuff going on. I saw over 100 super cars driving around today. Over 10 McLarens were parked on top of Independence Pass this afternoon. I’m not much of a car guy, but these were impressive.
Think we are going to go to Gatlinburg/ Pigeon Forge Tennessee area. Never been in that part. So what is a must see or do there?
Mostly just sit in traffic and wait for a table at every mediocre restaurant. Top of the list of places I’ll NEVER be back to. But I hope your experience is different.

Got back today after getting there Friday night. I understand your comment on the traffic. Luckily for us, where we were staying, we could walk everywhere we wanted to go. Only time I had to drive was when we went into Pigeon Forge. We had a good time. I did a zip line for the first time. Those coasters are everywhere up there. The best one was Rocky Top in Pigeon Forge. The Comedy Barn is a must see. The Hatfield and McCoy show has a good dinner but I really didn’t care for the show. All and all, wife enjoyed it and that’s what counted. I would go back again.

Sounds like you mean Destin, Florida. The food is pretty good, but the driving and 3 hour waits were a nightmare. We used to go there yearly and I didn’t remember it being that bad.
