    Need Ideas Where to Go

Had a trip planned for a week from tomorrow to go see my daughter and grandkids right outside of St Louis. She texted my wife today and said she will be having to work overtime and won’t have any time for us to spend with them. Plan was to arrive next Friday evening and leave Tuesday or Wednesday. I have to be back for work that Thursday night. My wife is off work for the whole week. She wants to go somewhere. So, where would you go??

Someplace where temps are cooler, like Colorado. Not tourist trap places, however.

We just got back from the Vail Colorado area, and I'd like to spend a week up around there goofing off.

Because they are young and we haven’t been around them much. One is a special needs child and that’s a whole other issue.

Edwards area near Aspen is pretty cool. Lots of fishing (even in town) and thus outfitters. A ton of cool little shops, each one of which has a big ole shop dog in it, even some of the foofoo shops had a pup.

We just got back from Las Cruses NM and had a really good time. It was hot but we didn't care, lots of hiking, biking, great food, White Sands Nat. Park.

Look into Cody Wy. Went up there two weeks ago and you can go to Yellowstone, but I'd recommend checking out Beartooth and the Buffalo Bill museum as well
