I'm hunting north of Antlers. Won't be able to hunt until the 3rd weekend but have several days off through the season. Haven't made it down yet, but my buddy I hunt with has been seeing some good ones. Can't wait!

Hey neighbors, late to the party, but always try to find the Push Co. threads when they pop up. It seems like there a good number of us TBH’s still hunting the region.
I’v run hanging feeders for years to help keep the bears, hogs, horses (and cows) from tearing things up. It works well if you hang them high enough and far enough off the tree. I use two trees about 20ft apart that can support the weight. I know some spike a tree and hang the feeders off just a foot or 2, but I don’t like that concept. A winch and cable/pulley combo makes for a pretty straight forward operation and I’ve been running them like that since 2018 or so with zero issues. Happy to help anyone build and setup.
I haven’t had cams out over bait recently, but had a couple good bachelor groups come through putting on some heavy mass.
I also bounce around all the public available nearby and would love to meet some of you guys hunting the same areas to help and learn from one another.
Good luck this season and looking forward to seeing everyone’s season come together!

Honobia here also. Headed up tomorrow for the 1st hunt of the year. The past week has been slow on cameras. That tells me they are looking for love.
I was baiting bears on one set and all i got was deer with their heads in the barrel up to their shoulders. I pulled it and put a feeder up and it lasted a week before and bear tore it down. 300 pound coon. I'm really starting to hate them.
