I drive a 2020 JLU Sport S daily. It's bone stock on highway tires. I really like it. 4 mile commute each way. Part four lane and part dirt/rough road. 3.6 with the 6 speed. Lots of fun and quick handling. Averages about 21 mpg all the time.

I'd go eco diesel and make sure to do some gears with those tires. If you go gas, get the 3.6. There are widely-available supercharger kits that aren't terribly pricey and will have that motor performing on par with a lot of v8s.

Well I bought the 3.6 non etorque version in a rubicon It is not lifted yet, but stock on the 285s I can say on the drive home from Houston to Lufkin it drives as good or better than my 2021 ram 1500. I drove 75-80 all the way and it handled perfect and I got 21mpg. For those saying they could not drive a jeep daily, either you have never drove a JL or you are used to a Cadillac because this thing has plenty of pep and is as smooth as any half ton truck I ever owned and way bettter riding than my 2020 Megacab 2500 was. It has every bell and whistle other than adaptive cruise
