One other suggestion, The Petroleum Club of Ft Worth. There may be a hoop to jump through. So, it may be something for your next visit to Ft. Worth.

I read a couple weeks back that Taylor Sheridan had invested quite a bit of cash in partnership with some of the original owners, to revamp, and expand Cattleman's Steakhouse. I'd always wished Tim Love or one of the other big time local guys would take it over and upgrade the steaks to something worth going out for. It's such an awesome old building, and cool old school vibe, I always thought it was a shame the steaks were so average. I'm gonna check it out next chance I get.

Michaels Cuisine on West 7th street. They call themselves "contemporary ranch cuisine" and specialize in ancho chile flavors.

I've been there probably a dozen times and have had the beef tenderloin with ancho chile bourbon demiglace every single time because if it aint broke dont fix it.

While the concept sounds cool, I think I’ll wait until you check it out a second time before I risk too much of my limited time.

As for Taylor Sheridan, he should probably just stick to what he knows. While the man is unquestionably talented, he just can’t seem to see a project through to its completion.

Quince is great. Right off the river.
Maria's is off University and its great food too.
Hudson House bar is a great place for a drink and people watching.
97 West at the Drover has a good espresso martini. Fixe Southern Kitchen in Clearfork has a good one too.
B&B Butchers is good. We sit at the bar there and have a good time.
We are going to Le Margot this weekend. Supposed to be great.
            Bonnell's is great
Grace is really nice with great food. Can get pricey quick.
            Ellerbe is great
Don Artemio is really good and their food is something you can't get most places

Since we had steak and elk last night, we went to Waters for seafood tonight. I’m usually not one for seafood, but this was pretty dang good. I had an espresso martini for dessert, it was among the best I’ve ever had.

I was still fairly full from last night’s dinner at Lonesome Dove. After the full meal I had tonight, they’re going to have to hoist me into the car to go home tomorrow. ((groaning))

Same we gave it up years ago. I hope they turn it into something good. But keep it somewhat classic in its ways.

Alot of good names to add to my list. As i was kind of burnt out on the standard go to's.

H3 has really disapointed me as well the last 2 times.

This happened a while back. I hope it gets better, it's been terrible. Or at least it was several years ago before I vowed to never spend any more money there
