Art question for the art people on the GS

I have 2 Pino Daeni signed, numbered and certified pieces and my wife is not a huge fan of them, I love them that is why I have them but I have been told that when our new home is completed they won't be making the move...
one is 'Deborah Revisited' professionally framed measuring 30x38
the other is 'In the Glow" professionally framed measuring 40x24

Question is, who knows of a reputable art buyer (I'm sure there is a fancier name for them) in the Cypress area or west Houston area

que the "I can't wait for season to start again" folks

I'm sure around there some galleries will take it and sell it for you but in my experience it's usually at 40-50% commission. You can try ebay or some of the online art sites since they're certified

I'll trade you for a poster of dogs playing poker and one of dogs playing eightball.

I would suggest nutting up and telling her who wears the pants in the family.

I could keep them without any MAJOR issue but it would help with the design center cost we racked up

They should be able to work them in the design for your mancave. That’s why you pay them the big bucks. 👍

They had a large collection of his artwork they were trying to sell on the Carnival Cruise I took earlier this year. I really liked them...enough that I took pictures of them.

I’m with your wife on this one….

There’s a dealer near me who’s also a client, she buys most stuff at about 30-40% of retail, plus she picks up a lot of stuff from estate sales.

her McLaren isn’t for carrying art around, so I guess she does well buying at less than half what she sells them for.

she says Pinos can sit on the wall or the shelf for a while

They are numbered? That tells me they are prints and probably less valuable than you hope.

I'm not an art person, and prior to today for me a print is just a print. But these are a giclee print, instead of inkjet they use Pigment Printing, use pigments instead of dyes which are archival and have a longevity of 200+ years.

                          bump for today's art lesson.
